BACKSTORY
The director, Prince Aly Aga Khan, Aga Khan Development Network, had shot a series of interviews of students at the University of Central Asia, Kazakhstan. In addition, to the video footage, the director had various policy-centric commentary in the form of factual motion graphics to integrate into the film narrative.

To explore innovative ways of presenting the video so that viewers could navigate through sequences of the video that interested them.

Concept
Following exploration of various interactive templates and client prototype presentations, we finalized the following core features for the video experience:
Passive Playback: In the absence of viewer input, video sequences play automatically and sequentially after a countdown timer.
Active Navigation: Viewers can actively skip or jump between sequences by swiping up or down on the video player interface.
